Who we are and what we do
Greyed Design is the trading name of me, Scott Sampson, a developer, coder and general webmonkey from South London.
I’m a passionate GNU/Linux user, and a huge fan of WordPress and ModX.
Although Greyed Design offer graphic design services, I don’t actually undertake any of it myself. I have a network of highly trusted designers and graphic artists who I use for these purposes. This ensures that you get the best possible service available.
Personally, I have about as much artistic talent as a 2 fingered monkey, and that is the reason I won’t attempt to do your graphic work myself. I’d rather get somebody who I know is capable of producing the result you desire, in the quickest time possible.

“So if you’ve got so much experience, why is this site is so plain?”
This is a question I get asked on a regular basis. The reason this site is as simple as it is, is because I feel that there is no need to have all manor of “bells and whistles” on my site. The work in my portfolio speaks for itself, as do the client testimonials. And I happen to like the whole “minimalist” thing too! I’d rather spend my time working on your site than my own, so I’ve deliberately kept this place simple.
I like to have fun, and as such, will always be willing to have a laugh and a joke with my clients. This does not mean that I don’t take you, or your ideas seriously, it just means that I’m a normal person too, albeit a super one!
I realise that without YOU, I’m nothing, and as such, I strive to ensure that if you ever have a problem, it will be resolved within 72 hours. I also guarantee to keep you fully informed at all times. However, I’m only human, and on occasion, it may take me slightly longer. Please don’t send the hitmen out too quickly…
In the unlikely event that you do have a problem, I want you to complain. Without your complaints and feedback, I am unable to improve the service I provide.
To ensure that it is as easy as possible for you to inform me of any problems, there is no fixed “complaints procedure” at Greyed Design. Simply get in touch with me by e-mail, telephone or via this site, and I will get back to you as soon as possible to discuss the problem and all possible solutions.
